Multiple VibPilotE Setup - Quick Guide

Instructions to Connect Multiple VibPilot-E Hardware to VibControl


  1. Use CAT 6 cables to connect each VibPilotE’s LAN port to the switch. Connect switch to PC LAN port. Be sure PC network card supports 1Gbps connection.Figure 1 - VibPilot Network
  2. Connect “Clock Out” of the master VibPilotE with “Clock In” of the slave VibPilotE.Figure 2 - VibPilot Clock Cables
  3. Set dedicated Network Adapter IP address 
    1. Start Menu -> View Network Connections
    2. Double-click on the relevant network card
    3. Select Properties
    4. Double-click on Internet Protocol Version 4 (IPV4)
    5. Select Use the Following IP Address and enter 192.168.168.1
    6. Enter the subnet mask of 255.255.255.0
  4. Run Firmware update. 
    1. Go toC:\VcpNT\VP24_Update\firmware. 
    2. Unzip firmware folder – Password to unzip is “firmware” 
    3. Run VibPilotE_Firmware_X_X_X_XXX.exe, 
    4. highlight all serial numbers and select “Update device firmware now”Figure 3 - Firmware update
  5. Enter VibPilotE Serial Numbers in VibPilot_Device_Cfg.ini file. Delete semicolon in front of active devices.Figure 4 - Starting the Service

  6. Start VibControl Service. 

    1. In the VibConfig window shown above, choose m+p VibPilotE as the start mode. 

    2. Select Start Service


Note: The network switch and static IP of the network card create an isolated network.
Do not connect printers or other network devices to the same switch or NIC!
